LectiGuide Inc. is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We believe every student deserves equal access to the tools that help them succeed in their healthcare education.

Our Commitment

We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. This means working to make LectiGuide perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for all students regardless of ability or disability.

Current Measures

Keyboard navigation support throughout the application
Sufficient color contrast ratios across all text and interactive elements
Descriptive labels on all buttons, inputs, and interactive components
Screen reader compatible markup where possible
Text scaling support up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
No content that flashes more than 3 times per second
Alternative text on meaningful images and icons
Focus indicators visible on all interactive elements

Known Limitations

LectiGuide is built and maintained by a small team. While we are committed to accessibility, some features may not yet meet full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance. Areas we are actively working to improve include:

Complex interactive features such as the Clinical Concept Map and TriPrep question formats
Audio transcript accessibility for the Study Podcast feature
Additional ARIA landmark improvements throughout the application

We are committed to addressing these limitations and welcome feedback from users who encounter barriers.

Assistive Technology

LectiGuide has been tested with common screen readers including VoiceOver on iOS and macOS and TalkBack on Android. We aim to support NVDA and JAWS on Windows as well. If you encounter issues with a specific assistive technology please let us know.

Third Party Content

LectiGuide uses third-party services including Clerk for authentication, Stripe for payments, and jsPDF for document generation. We cannot fully control the accessibility of these services but we select partners who share our commitment to accessible design.
